NANO II
First developed in 2012, it is now globally recognized for its performance.
TWINSTAR Sterilizer Effect
The TWINSTAR sterilizer effectively inhibits algae growth and eliminates harmful pathogens in your aquarium. Using a patented electrolysis system, it generates free radicals that destroy bacteria and fungi without releasing harmful substances.
- Algae Control: Helps prevent green water and surface algae.
- Pathogen Elimination: Reduces fish diseases caused by bacteria and fungi.
- Safe for Aquatic Life: Harmless to fish, plants, and beneficial filter bacteria.
- Proven Efficiency: Delivers up to 99.9% sterilization performance — twice as effective as conventional UV sterilizers.
TWINSTAR Aquarium Sterilizer
The TWINSTAR sterilizer effectively inhibits algae growth and eliminates fish pathogens by generating free radicals through voltage differences between electrodes. It does not produce any toxic substances, ensuring safety for aquatic plants, fish, and beneficial filter bacteria.
With a sterilization efficiency of 99.9%, it is twice as effective as UV sterilizers, and its electrode lifespan is more than three times longer.

Performance Comparison Test
We tested the sterilization performance using two planted aquariums set up under identical conditions. In the aquarium without the TWINSTAR sterilizer, significant algae growth occurred, whereas in the aquarium with the sterilizer installed, aquatic plants grew healthily without any algae.

Healthy Plant Growth
Once algae begin to grow, they spread not only on the glass surface but also on the leaves and stems of aquatic plants. This interferes with photosynthesis and prevents the plants from absorbing nutrients properly, ultimately halting their growth. By effectively inhibiting algae growth, TWINSTAR creates an optimal environment that supports faster and healthier plant development.

24-Hour Automatic Operation with Real-Time Water Monitoring
The TWINSTAR sterilizer monitors water conditions in real time through electrical signals and automatically operates at the optimal sterilization intensity, ensuring effective performance 24 hours a day.

FAQs
Q: What are the differences in the new TWINSTAR Sterilizer?
A: The previous model was divided into the Nano series, which inhibits algae, and the Yotta, which kills fish pathogens. The new model has been released with an integrated algorithm that allows it to both kill pathogens and inhibit algae simultaneously.
Q: What is the sterilization principle of TWINSTAR?
A: The TWINSTAR sterilizer generates a sterilizing effect by electrolyzing water using electrodes. Typically, two electrodes (anode and cathode) coated with platinum are submerged in water, and voltage is applied to initiate electrolysis.
Generation of Active Oxygen
During the electrolysis process, water (H₂O) produces not only oxygen (O₂) and hydrogen (H₂), but also various reactive oxygen species (ROS). These ROS possess strong oxidizing power, enabling them to effectively eliminate bacteria, viruses, fungi, and other microorganisms in the water.
Sterilization Mechanism
The active oxygen and oxygen gas generated during the process destroy microbial cell walls or oxidize internal cell components, thereby achieving a strong sterilization effect.
Q: What is precautions for Using the Sterilizer?
A: The reactor is polarized, so if there is soil dust or dirty water in the aquarium, charged particles may adhere to the electrode surface and shorten the reactor’s lifespan. For newly set up planted aquariums, it is recommended to start using the sterilizer 3–4 days after the soil dust has fully settled and the water has stabilized.
Q: What is the lifespan of the RACTOR?
A: If used in a clean aquarium environment without dust, the REACTOR can last between 6 to 12 months. It is made of titanium and coated with platinum, giving it strong polarity similar to a magnet.
Q: What is the best position to install the sterilizer?
A: The optimal installation position for the reactor is approximately 10 cm below the outlet.
Q: What is the method for installing a sterilizer in an aquarium where algae have already developed?
A: First, remove the algae and perform a 50–60% water change at least twice. Then, install the sterilizer and keep the lights off for two days.
Q: Does it affect pH and hardness changes?
A: The TWINSTAR sterilizer does not affect pH and hardness at all.
